Brian Jacobus is the Managing Partner of PNW Wealth Management LLC, a trusted independent wealth management firm providing financial planning services to successful professionals and affluent retirees. PNW Wealth Management has a particular focus on retirement planning.
With more than 18 years' experience in the financial services industry, Brian brings a broad perspective and depth of knowledge not commonly found in the industry.
Prior to founding PNW Wealth Management LLC, Brian spent five years as an Associate Regional Director with the Russell Investment Group. In his role at Russell, Brian worked side-by-side with many of the most successful Financial Advisors in the United States. Specifically counselling Advisor's on topics such as; client acquisition, client retention, practice management, portfolio construction and implementation, as well as staffing issues.
Brian's desire had always been to work with individual investors directly, in 2007 Brian transitioned from his role of consultant to the Financial Advisor, to that of Financial Advisor. Joining Key Investment Services cemented this transition. Within the first twelve months at Key, Brian ascended to the title of Vice President. In each of the next five years, Brian performed in the firms top 20%, earning annual recognition as a top producer at Key. Brian's focus at Key was to work closely with individual investors and business owners, with a particular focus on retirement planning.
The next, natural step in Brian's career was to become a trusted independent Financial Advisor. This transition gave Brian an opportunity to operate free from the big brokerage firms and banks. Providing his clients with truly independent financial advice. PNW Wealth Management encompasses everything Brian has strived for his entire career, that is, to provide trusted and independent financial planning services to successful professionals and affluent retirees.
Brian lives with his wife Sarah and two sons in Puyallup, WA. Being a life long resident of Puyallup and an alumni of the University of Washington, Brian is an avid Seattle sports fan. When he's not rooting for one of our local sports teams, Brian enjoys coaching baseball and running.
